MIRAGE MIRAGE

On Friday, March 3rd from 17:00 we will open the doors of the TANK for a few hours just for you to have the opportunity of looking at the result of two artists, Inka te Haar and Ambra Viviani, reflecting collectively on the hard markers of Modern Western construction of a state’s territory: borders! MIRAGE MIRAGE is an interplay of different artistic languages taking the space of the TANK in a peculiar manner. Even the title mirrors a song, Voyage Voyage, as an ironic play with the idea of traveling as the embodiment of the dream of discovery and freedom. What if we move from a space of «places» to spaces of flows? What if we rejected the way the Western perspective thinks and represents territory?
